Please don't throw shit at me for this question. I am building a custum kit, but am trying to decide which size t3/t4 turbo to get. I have been researching for about a year and a half, and feel like I know enough to start getting my parts. I still don't quite understand the flow charts though. Can I get some help on which t3/t4 would be best suited for me. I want something that will pull at about 2500-3000 rpms. First installation will include 30# inj. and fmic, and shooting for about 250-275hp(to begin with}( ) Also, I have a star mani, so if there is a place with good info on garrett turbos throw it at me. I was looking at a 50 trim w/.48 a/r

the lower the trim the faster it should spool. I think what you are thinking of will be small enough to hit max boost right around 3k rpm.

Take a look at this post it has some good information:

the .48 50 trim will spool fast but high RPM HP will suffer because of it...may i suggest a ball bearing 57trim...should spool as fast as the .48 50trim but will have explosive power and not give up in the high rpms...if your going for HP and a drag strip this is what you want...
