everywhere says use the "NA" BSFC for us, which is .45-.50. SO since we are an NA engine BUT with a turbo kit, is it still considered "NA" for BSFC purposes or do we move the BSFC numbers up to the "turbo Engine" range for injector calculations?

After the rebuild, I would use higher numbers than stock. You lose some efficiency when you lower compression. So, it will take a little more fuel to make the same power. If it were me, I'd probably use 0.58 or something. But, thats just a guess as I have never put a 420A on a engine dyno for testing. The calcs are just a jumping off point for tuning new setups.

Yeah without Engine AND drivetrain dynoing to get specific loss and output numbers, BSFC is pretty much a guessing game. Its very existence in my fuel computations pisses me off, personally. But I'm a tuning noob.

I just did all my computations 10x, one for each value of BSFC from .50 to .60 and tried to match it up with my real-world numbers. Obviously BSFC will vary a bit between engines because of tolerances and ring gapping and stuff.

Hehe... don't get caught up in fuel pressure calculations and engine consumption data. I spent a week trying to figure out some numbers and nothing seemed to match up. Based on my calculations, I needed xx psi of fuel pressure at x lbs of boost. Let's just say those calculations left me pretty lean. I don't believe in calculations anymore.
