Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving.

I just drove 600 miles over the thankgiving area.
4hrs continuous driving for both ways

I just did my compression test today!
After 3-4 weeks of boosting, engine at 80700miles.
And my car is a 1995 Eclipse GS. boosting at 6PSI for 3-4 weeks.

My compression number comes out to be
200-195-191-202

That 191 is kinda bothers me...
what you guys think about the # above?

BTW...SO HAPPY..haahaa over the holiday I played with couple cars on the highway...I LOVE IT...I can accelerate even at high speed!

Played with 2002 Eclipse v6 Turbo... (SMOKED)
Played with Mecedis SLK (I can keep up with his acceleration)
Played with a Mitsubishi 3000GT...going at 75MPH at 4th gear at 4K RPM. When he want to go, I go...and WOOO....6PSI kicks in with no lag and kill his acceleration.... OH YEAH!

All the above, I don't konw if they really step on hte gass or not..but eclipse I am sure... and 3000GT I know he want to pass me..but don't know if I push it or not... FUN!

Let me know how the Compression number looks to you guys ok!

um.....:wary. what 3kgt? the slow SL v6 2wd one? no way u touched a VR-4. i woulda downshifted into 3rd at 75 and held that until about 92 (redline) so i dunno why u were in 4th and had "WOO" acceleration, try 3rd

As I said, for the 3000GT, I know he didn't step on it all the way. (I know I can't beat it ... lol)
And yes it's the twin turbo VR2 3000GT..
but I am still happy coz before I turbo chargered mine.... I can't even ge tclose to it..LOL..
at least now... I can do SOMETHING.. heehee.

And for the 2002 v6 eclipse. Yes that I have to say YUP... he might be a shitty driver (i don't konw) but I definitly kill him completely.. lol.
I still remember his face looking at me when I slow down to let him catch up with me then I just step on the gass at 4 gear going at 70MPH and killed him.

I know 3rd gear will even be better...but I love my car too much so I don't want to push my car too hard. (I NEVER redline my car..ever) the most I went (when I street race) I will go to 6K RPM the most.

Well, after yesterday long driving and boosting.
I have alot of oil coming out from my PCV valve area. I re-route that hose to the end of the engine. Is that good? I mean it's about a teaspoon of oil is out. is that ok?

BTW, those engine oil that was out of the PCV valve, they are WHITE... how come?

i think he said like woah to the 3g v6 turbo because they dont make those.....:shrug

although, it is possible to turbo one of those, so maybe i am totally off.

From what I've heard the turbo kits for those are all crap and give horrible power gains. The supercharger kits are where it's at for those cars...supposedly.

i dunno. yesterday, i was crusing, and a nice ass gt eclipse roasted me. had a fmic also. and im not that slow.

some of the modded 3g's are putting down some decent numbers. VERY few and far between though. give them some time and youll start to see some things im sure.

isnt boost fun? haha.

maybe true, but they will still be uglier than a 400+lb fat girl in a open cup teddy. LOL.

Be careful messing with other cars on the highway or anywhere for that matter. Cops can be REAL dicks and can get you for racing. Turbo is fun, but dont be "that guy" who always wants to race someone.

I have quite alot of engine oil came out of the PCV valve place..
Is that fine?

i think that after a run of spirited driving, a tablespoon is common. although personally, the thought of oil coming out is unsettling. i guess i am just a perfectionist.:D

so if oil is coming out.... is that mean my crank is Fxxked?
that's why my compression # is still fine..coz it only check for pistons and rings and cylinder walls and headgasket....

I am using Castro Full Syntheic 10W-30

After I did my oil change about 3 weeks ago I put it till 9/10 full
Currently I still have half.

My PCV valve is like 2 years old. (just to clear up) There are two holes on the Valve Cover correct? One for PCV, other for breather filter.
My breather Filter has zero oil looking from outside.
The PCV port, the oil didn't come out from the PCV valve itside at the side, but it came out after the PCV valve hose where I reloacated the hose to the back of the engine.

BTW GUYS... I don't get it... the oil that comes out from the PCV port, those are like "MILKY" engine oil. I do'nt even know if it is engine oil... coz it's color is like some really milky coffee color.

that is like saying do i need to buy an safc with 450cc injectors....it seems useless except to control my fuel...:shrug

if it does the job intended, it is not useless. now if you buy a catch can that has a hole in the bottom, then yes, it would be useless.

Well, today I also just did my other Eclipse's Engine compression Test.
The # comes out: 212-207-205-209

Even better then my Red Eclipse....:rolleyes :wary well both are mine...but still, my baby red eclipse is less...
And I realize one thing, the center two cylinders are always lower... at least for two of my eclipse...HOW COME?

No those numbers are fine for a car with 80k miles.

What do you mean you disconnected the pcv and put it on the back of the engine? Some people say its ok to disconnect your pcv system, but its not. Just make sure your PCV valve is not leaking and put a catch can on your breather. You might get a little more oil coming out the breather because your going to see more blowby on a stock motor with 80k miles.

I think your numbers are good ^^^ like they said. I think you're supposed to get worried when the lowest compression is >25% less than your highest one.
