Well, that's not a good thing if you don't have one since that "one" in the tank attached to the fuel pump hardly amounts to a fuel pump. It's a strainer.

So which one do you have?

i have an inline filter after the hrc inline fuel pump, its fram. i know, i didn't know they have a bad rep but i've never had a problem with them before and didn't know about their rep. although i will not use another fram oil filter on the next oil change.

It's an Earl's Inline filter. I actually changed out all of my fuel feed lines to SS -6AN. However, FYI, the stock feed line uses the same -6AN fitting at two locations to install this sort of fuel filter. One is right off the fuel tank assembly and another is the last foot or so of fuel line right before the fuel rail; that's where I installed my fuel filter. It's fairly inexpensive, uses a replaceable filter element, and is much higher flowing.
