Well I'm half way through installing my nitrous. I taped the fuel on top of the fuel rail behined the 2nd cylinder. ( I don't have the test port in the usual spot near the passangers side) Is it ok to drive the car without the solenoid electricaly hooked up? Becuase I did start it up and fuel splurt out so I shut it off.:( Is it normal for it to do that?

Any help will be appreciated!

They should be closed untill you turn them on, and when the nitrous is engaged that is the only time they should open. Check your connections. Where exactly is it coming out from?

Im in the process of seting up the kit nothing is wired. Were you connect the main fuel line to the testport fuel started to leak out when I started the car up. (quite a bit) is that normal? and what should I use to seal it up with?

No thats not normal. Teflon paste, or if you go to walmart they have this stuff called seal all. It is oil,fuel,and water restant. That stuff works great. But anything with teflon in it will work great.

Just fyi: Whenever you are messing with fuel lines or oil lines use a teflon paste (or equivelent) on the connection to ensure a perfect seal.

the fitting on the end of the fuel rail(the "test port") is flared. do NOT use any teflon tape or anything on it. a flare fitting, when matched to the right other fitting, seals itself....thats why its smooth and rounded at the end.

I'm not useing the fitting on the end of the test rail I dont have one. My test port is on top of the fuel rail. Any ways in the instruction book it says telfon paste is ok. (not tape)

*EDIT* Never mind I got it to work right thanks for the help

So, do I need to change my fuel line? I just got a regular fuel line and used a 1/4" clamp and tightened them down. I haven't seen any leaks or anything. What do you guys think?
