Ok Im not sure but I searched everywhere..but what exactly is a flex section for?...everyone wants one yet hahn dosent have one on their downpipe... :shrug ..

It has something to do with the engine rocking back and forth when the car is being driven.

A flex section is just that, a flexible section of piping for your exhaust. It allows for slight movement without creating stress cracks. It also makes it easier to bolt the cat-back section to the downpipe.
