which would produce more power? like 75wet vs. 80 dry? Wouldn't the wet kit be safer? Just curious... also, i've been reading about nitous gauges blowing up. is that true?:wary

i have a 75 wet shot NOS. and a nitrous gauge it hasnt blown yet and ive never heard of one blowing. I think the wet kit is safer.

Ive never heard of a guage blownin up.. Im running a NX wet kit samething Ive heard they're safer but I think the dry leaves you with more upgrade possibilities but Im not sure.

get the wet kit its safer and only takes about 5 more minutes onthe install ,,i have used zex 75 shot for like 3 months now no problems last run at the track was 14.3 97 somthing mph ,,i love this man its addicting power ,going up to 100 shot this coming up race season:love

Wet is definately safer as long as it is setup right. As for the gauge blowing up, it will not happen 95% of the time, what causes it is the mechanical pressure being too much for the gauge, lik ein the 2000 psi range. The blow down tube should vent well before then but if the moon is properly aligned with Uranus and so on, it can happen. I only know of one instance where it has but it would come apart at enough pressure you would never want to take the chance and install a mechanical gauge inside your car where you can see it. If it were to blow, it would wreck your face.

Cool! I got everything installed now. All I have to do is fill up the bottle and put some solder plugs in. Is $40 for a 10 lbs. bottle sound reasonable? So regular 92, 93 octane pump gas good enough for 75 shot wet kit? I also have adj. cam gears set also, should I set that back to 0/0? or it don't matter? Just curious. TIA
