hey guys, i'm installing a safc on a 97 eclipse rs. i have the factory service manual and have everything but the rpm wire hooked up. I have searched your threads for two days and have resorted to asking you a question that has probably been answered too many times. I have a dyno appointment on monday so i really need your help to get this thing going! you have links to the install but they are down. also i have searched the manual for info and it seems to be non existant. I have ran harness to ecu and would like to hook up rpm lead there. I guess the last resort would be to run wire back inside to the insturment cluster but that seems kind of ghetto. any help would be greatly appreciated.. tom

The tach wire if I remember correctly is....The white one with green stripe on the bottom harness....

No i think its the Solid white wire on the bottom of the harness. If you unplug your ecu and remove it from the car is really easy to get to the wire and tap in.

white wire is tach, white/green is for interior lighting.

thanks, i wonder if anyone has the pin number? or if it is the only white wire on bottom plug?

Only one white wire, if you look at it extensively though, you will probably see very light pink dashes on it, at least on mine, and that is the one.
