With a higher spring, which is only $10, you will have a bit more range to work with. You can only go so far with the screw method...

I only need 7 psi is that enough with unscrewing the wastegate?

5993, I think it would be safer to order a new spring... Posted by Phat_99_Eclipse, Jun-07-01 05:40 AM
I have my adjustment screw turned in to try to hit 7psi, but I seem to stay at 6. I don't want to turn it in anymore with fear of maybe causing the wastegate not to vent and maybe hitting a boost spike. I plan on ordering the 9 pound spring as soon as I find someone here in Austin that has them or can get them...
Wyatt, can you get these 9 pound springs? I actually tried having a shop in San Antonio order one of these for me, but he said Turbonetics had a hard time getting out to him... If you can get them, how much?
Thanks,
DoN
