59746, engine bay pics needed of starion fmic costum piping and SOME QUESTION

yeah just got my beautiful station fmic and i need some piping ideas from those who ran/currently run this set up.

what diameter of piping are you all running?

how much trimming is involved of the bumper and will i be able to keep the 5 mph bumper?

finally, how much should i expect to shell out for the pipies, clamps, etc...

I have a variety of different pipes.

From the turbo I have a 2" pipe that kinda cirves and goes straight down pretty much, then it has a 90 degree nitrile elbow on it and is connected to a straight 2 1/4 inch pipe that is about a foot and a half long and runs almost horizontal towards the drive side, it's cocked diagonal just a tad. It is coupled to a 180 degree mandrel bent 2 1/4" pipe that wraps around the 'metal' that is at the front of the car so now the pipe is in front of the radiator. That pipe is coupled to a long, almost 2 foot long 2" pipe that runs along the top of the intercooler and then is coupled to the intercooler inlet. My front bumper support is removed, and that pipe that runs along the top of the intercooler is zip tied 3 or 4 times to the frame of the car on the front. From the IC outlet, I have the piping ran somewhat twisty through the driver side near the fuse box sort of.... A pipe comes from the IC and is a 90 degree bend, then a small twisted 'S' shaped pipe goes upwards and to the left through the small hole at the fuse box, then couples to a small black 'J' pipe with my BOV flange on it. Now the pipe is heading towards the intake manifold, so here it couples to a 90 degree mandrel bent 2.5" pipe and finally connects to the intake manifold. You can see the 'J' pipe and 2.5" mandrel pipe in these pics.

I know it's tough to imagine, but I hope it helps.

p.s. Having the battery relocated helps me a LOT.

>>what diameter of piping are you all running?

2.25" from turbo to IC
2.50" from IC to throttle body

>>how much trimming is involved of the bumper and will i be able to keep the 5 mph bumper?

I'm not sure... I don't use it.

>>how much should i expect to shell out for the pipies, clamps etc?

About $100 or so. I got all top of the line couplers & clamps so I spent more than that. It can get pretty pricey.

>>did you peice the kit together (piping) or did you go to a
>>muffler shop?

I bought all the materials and cut/welded/beaded/assembled them myself.

$75 - Pipes - from JCWhitney and Burn's Stainless
$150 - Silicone Fiberglass Couplers - from Turbohoses.com
$50 - T-bolt Clamps - Summitracing.com
$25 - 1G BOV Weld On Flange - eBay.com

Here's my pics:
