Hey guy's I was planning on doing my turbo install on my 97, and was wondering if I could leave the stock FPR and just tap into the fuel return line right before the gas tank and hook up my new return fuel line from the FPR that is for the turbo... I can not see there being any problems with this, cause on the 95's you leave the stock FPR on the rail so there must not be an issue with running (2) FPR's. The only reason I am asking is cause I am using a drop in Walbro and not an inline, and only see the need to remove the stock FPR when you are installing an inline. If you dont think this is possible please explain your theroy as to why. Thanks

You would need to mount your new boost-dependent FPR in the BACK of the car near your stock fuel return line and stock FPR. Why do you ask? Because the fuel pump assembly only allows for two fuel lines (One feed line and one return line). Both of these lines are of course already occupied. Therefore, the FPR(s) must be inline and running to the SAME return line port on the fuel pump assembly. In order to retain the use of the stock FPR which, of course, takes the fuel from a location in FRONT of the the fuel filter and runs it back to the fuel tank via the the return port on the fuel pump assembly.
All in all, you KNOW you need the boost dependent FPR, so the real choice is, do you want to have the FPR mounted in the front or the back and with that, do you mind the line running from the engine bay to either be the fuel return line OR the vacuum line which communicates to the boost-dependent FPR how much more pressure is needed to compensate for the boost?? (long question...isn't it?)

I just though of somthing. Does this meen I need to run a signal line all the way from the intake plenum to the rear of the car(FPR)? If so I might as well run a return line, cause I think it would be safer than a small "vacum" line. Right? or is there another place I acn tap into a vacum/boost signal for the FPR? Thanks Again

It should be easier that way. Running a boost line to the back isnt really a hard thing to do. Only thing is that you have to work from underneath the car. I can't wait to get boosting!!!!!!!

the only problem with running a vacum/boost signal so far is that there will be a lose in the signal straingh. And you relay dont want to mess with signals not be correct when it comes to the fuel system.
