59357, Oil Test and Head *Pictures* Solar Update. Posted by solareclipse98, Oct-23-03 06:56 PM
Okey, so here is the latest update... before i take the head in to have the tests done on it, I thought i would post some pictures of it to see if anyone see's anything that i don't. I also performed the oil test that etx suggested after cleaning the cyl walls from the lithium grease test over and over getting as much of the grease out as possible.
I centered the pistons and poored oil into all 4 cylenders... I cleaned the linoleem floor i placed under the lift so that i would notice any drips or leaks. I put the oil in the cylenders at aprox 6pm tonight and at 10:45 the oil was at the same level and no leaks on all 4 cylenders.
Here are some pictures

head shot of #1 combust chamber... i had a little oil in there from trying a test so the shiny oil stuff you see is just oil...i noticed some weird scar marks the make me ponder if the head gasket didn't make a complete seal.
