nothing, that's the thing!i live on a small island here in washington(i work for the NAVY) and there's no performance shops here whatsoever.all the auto places here are a tad conservative and old fashioned.the guy said he wouldn't mount it cause it was meant to be in the tank.he keeps insisting it'll burn up or something.btw, where in the engine bay did you guys mount your airtex pumps to?!?!?!?

It is mounted next to the stock regulator if you have a 96-99 eclipse. Right rear tire by the gas tank. I've ask the same Q a week ago. Do a search keyword intex pump. Dark one gave me a good discription on how to mount it. buy a longer fuel hose it makes the installation alot easier.

So you got it running, Randy? I've been meaning to take pictures of it, but had to bring my car back to the body shop for some corrective work. Right now, i'm flooded in downtown, as Tropical Storm Allison blows overhead.

Thanks for all the help.I'm doing the re-wire tomorrow(I work weekends)and then put the airtex in.So,once I got the re-wire mod it aughta be fine for me to splice the airtex into the stock pump's power source right? Thanks for bearing w/ me...
