5930, Fuel System questions for when i go Turbo.... Posted by Nitrous_RS1997, Jun-04-01 05:12 PM i will be getting a turbo kit in the next 2-3 months. i plan on boosting 10psi all the time(16g turbo). i currently have a Walbro 255 fuel pump, and of course the in-line that the Hahn kit will come with. my question is, to boost 10psi, will the walbro and in-line be all i need or will i need injectors/S-SAC also? i have built internals, so i know with more fuel upgrades i could boost pretty high....but a drag racer isnt my goal, just a reliable, fun to drive, NON CRANKWALKING DSM! :-) thanks for any opinions/advice. | |

Posted by HadesOmega, Jun-04-01 05:31 PM haha I was having fun with my NT b4 I got the turbo, but the turbo does make it much funner when you can squash the honduhs, and see people look at the RS on the back of your car and they hear the BOV. 5 PSI is plenty fun already you should have twice the fun! Anyway I think the HRC inline and the Walbro pump are more than enough. But if you really wanna be safe get some injectors. Or if you have AF guage already check and see if you ever run too lean. Haha that's one thing I'm freaked about right now, I don't know how my engine is doing. heh you should keep the NOS and use it to help your lag (gotta get some NOS controller or something for that I think), but yeah a car isn't really a daily driver when you have to refill a bottle every week or so. | |

5932, RE: Fuel System questions for when i go Turbo.... Posted by guest, Jun-05-01 08:29 AM You will be fine even if you just used the walbro pump. That combined with the inline pump is a lot of fuel. But if you want to boost into the teens get some injectors. | |
