59074, Vortech SFMU alternative Posted by 420AYE, Oct-20-03 07:58 PM
Ok, i'm doing the cheapest turbo kit. I don't want any crap sfmu. I have heard of the BEGI fmu. anyone had any first hand expierience? i heard it was make by cartec... not sure. I just know that it is reletively cheap and is a Rising rate fpr. I also beleive it adjusts by using a screw.

Here is another one. Maybe we can do a group buy on it, they say they love Group Purchases. It is said to be adjustable and boost sensitive. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33553&item=2438122177
What are the pros cons of both compared to the sfmu?
TIA

if its just a rising rate fuel unit, then its not a fuel pressure regulator. youll end up replacing it just like people replace the cartech. furthermore, if its made by cartech i wouldn't even think twice about not buying it. just buy sfmu and be done with it. too many people on here run them for them not to be the best for our setups.
