5837, help-general turbo info Posted by mitseclps, Jun-03-01 09:18 AM
LAST EDITED ON 03-Jun-01 AT 02:22 PM (PST)i could use a little help, i'm a nitro guy but i'm looking to get a turbo (so i don't have to deal w/ filling my bottle all the time, it sucks), i should have enough by the end of the summer but thats another story
anyone have any websites about turbo kits or turbos in general? (or just posts that would help). if and when i get a kit, i'd want (like) to install it myself but i know i need to learn more about them first and about all the parts etc, thanks again and any info would be helpfull (i've looked at a lot of posts and everything but i'm still a little lost every now and then)
once i learn the basics i guess i could get more detailed about which kit i really want (and need) and which would be best, thanks again

If your looking to learn more about turbo's your best bet is to order Corkey Bell's, Maximum Boost. Try Amazon, I think it's $35

Try Wyatt's site... http://www.turbogs.com I learned EVERY THING I know from his site. He has pictures and EVERYTHING. That book will help a lot, and I suggest you get it, but Wyatt's site has info about OUR engine, and Your turbo kit. If you decide on Star. Check it out!!!
