Okay, this is weird. In the paset few days, i have noticed rotton egg smell, (cat is bad i think?), heavy exhaust smell, MASS smoke coming from Catch can filter whle driving, nad burnt oil smell right after a boost run.
Today i notice:
1. catch can filter is saturated with oil with oil being blown on and around catch can but can is barly 1/4 full and nothing is plugged.
2. CEL blinks on and off while sitting at stop light, but stops blinking when driving.
3. Datalogger shows #1 misfire, #3 misfire, and a "random/multiple misfire" code

The only thing i ahve done recently is to change oil and filter. I used a K&N oil filter and Valvoline 5w-30 full synthetic oil.

i have not looked at plugs yet.
is it possible my oil is to thin of a viscosity?

Any ideas?

No comp check tonight, tomorrow for sure however.

Also no H2o in oil, no decrease in performance noticed.

i had a cel blink at idle when i blew my motor. hehe.. good old days.. but yah, check your compression.. also at idle my exhaust note was off it was not normal.. it was 'missing'.. if it turns out bad do a leak down test to see if its just the hg or what not.

Do a compression test, and start panicing. You have all the symptopms of a cracked piston.

ouch i am starting to believe i better save up for a rebuild.

tim: do you know what you did, tuning wise, before this happened? maybe i can learn from this?

The blinking CEL while at a stop light indicates a multiple cylinder misfire occurring right at that instant. My car used to do that pretty often after the ported/milled head, but it seems to have stopped doing that after I adjusted my cam gears and it idles better now. Do you cams? Or a rough idle? Hopefully it's something not too serious.

his motor has to be gone.. kaiser, im at 10psi now still slow.. i have no idea how you can stand 5psi on a 'built motor' :thumbsdown
