It will be about 2 months until i get my turbo kit, if the NER kit isnt ready by then i will be going with a hahn stage one kit and getting a Starion intercooler and custom pipeing. i know Stan is doing this. There is a very good muffler shop here that does custom pipeing, and the guy has done pipeing for several GST's so far. would i just mount the intercooler without any pipeing and have him do it from there? how hard will the IC be to mount? also, if any of you guys are near East Tennessee and would like to help me wit hthe install, please let me know! id really appreciate the help. also, my buddy with a 99RS is gonne get some JE pistons 8:1 compression pistons for his car and is going turbo also...what boost could he safely run with the lower compression? he also has a Walbro 255 fuel pump as do I. thanks a lot for any help.

You should do the inlet/outlet modifications first and mount the stock starion mounting tab upright on the top/backside of the intercooler. with the tab mounted upright deadcenter, mounting is as easy as removing the bumper. Just remember the bumper is also attached to the crash support and it all comes out as one until. once out you can remove the bumper cover from the support. Not really hard. Attaching the intercooler once the bumper is off is cake. I'd mount it then take it to the muffler shop (prepared to take the front end off before they start work). then test fit as they go along to make sure the bumper will fit with the piping. I cant find a good place locally so I bought MWC piping and will have to modify it accordingly to fit.
