58109, freakin oil line from HELLLLLLL Posted by turbo8u, Oct-08-03 09:04 AM
i was doin some work on my car the past few days and right when im leaving my shop and takin my car off the lift i check my oil line to my turbo for leaks and stuff. so i look at the line and its fully apart....the lame ass metal connectors just came apart! i had to drive like 2 hours to get a new one. i wanted to kill. it was the line on the sending unit and my hands are to freakin big to get at it from the bottom and i cant ever seen to get it on from the top, so after about 20 knuckle busters and a custom made oil line im out boosting again. i swear though....only a dsm will break things that will make you so you cant drive
1.) alternator fusible link - rare part, only sold at dealerships. you NEED this fuse. i've blown it, it sucked. 2.) this effin oil line - glad i saw it, or else turbo would be bye bye 3.) fuel pump ground wire scraped on a speed bump accidently, pita to get it back in...cars to low
what crazy ass probs have you guys had? _________ 96 talon esi-t san clemente, ca

I just had a problem with that oil line also, I got so pissed off I a friend of mine fixed it for me. heh.
I think our speedo's like to go out. I have had the speedo stop working 3 times all from a different problem.
Now my car is vibrating like an electronic dildo above 3.5k rpms. I haven't figured this one out yet. So it dosent look like I am going to the track with it tonight :(

Having trouble sleeping? Pain in your joints? Oil lines getting you down? Don't blow your PCV, we can help!

Oh, and this one time, at band camp, I had this piston, and it like, dug into the cylinder. :+

What caused it to dig in? Was it 2 much boost? Broke a valve Or something just got in?:shrug

My opinion: Corner head bolt causes headgasket leak, empty coolant causes overheating, piston overexpands, crushes totalseal rings gapped just a tad too small, ring grinds away cylinder wall. :shrug

Here is my new saga:
Coolant leaking from thermostat housing. - pull it apart, put in new gasket and sealed the shit out of it. works for like a week.
Coolant leaking from upper rad hose where it hits the radiator. - cut hose back. works for like a week.
Coolant leaking from same place. - replace clamp and hose. works until last night.
Coolant leaking from thermostat housing again.

oil leaking from somewhere, I still dont know, I swear it moves around???????
Computer just died, or went bad I'm not really sure because I left for college and had to leave it at home to get fixedx( .
O2 sensor bad yet again, right after I replaced it.
Fuggin bolts disappear somewhere all the time, to this day I still have only found one.
Not to mention I somehow lost a wheel lug nut after the shop tightened it with a air gun.
Damn now I'm depressed about that car again.
Chris:-( :thumbsdown
