Sup guys.
I just installed teh digital gauge bought from Cobin... they are SO COOL.. I will post some picture on it soon.

And right now, everything is stock, I am using the stock FMU, stock injector, stock pump.. I just installed the A/F gauge first...then tomroorw, I will do the rest.

But I dont get is when I am at idle, it reads .25x... is that right??
coz all of you said idle should be .5xx right?
Or is it just for after turbo charged?

right now, my car has NOTHING in it.. no turbo, nothing..just stock with a A/F gauge.

the numbers should be jumping all around cause your in closed loop mode most of the time. the only time you should see the numbers stay steady is when you floor it and go into "open loop" mode. Open loop only happens pretty much when you floor it.

nope. other way around.

If the car is cold and is the first start of the day, the air fuel gauge should stay at about .5 for a few minutes. As the car warms up, the numbers should be bouncing up to .9 (rich) and then back down to .1. Since it is a digital gauge, unless you are at WOT the numbers should never remain constant.

This sound bad.
Coz I just hooked up my A/F gauge today...and I drove around for over 1 hour today.
And it seems like this.
At idle (700RPM) it stays between 2.3x - 2.6x
When I start driving, it goes up with the RPM... like 2.6...3...4...5
When I get to about 4000RPM, it reads about 5.xx
And as soon as I step on the clutch or down shift (depending on the RPM), it drop back down to 2.3x-2.6x

Is that mean I hook the signal wire to the WRONG pin?
I got the Blue Cobin digital gauge (the numeric 3 decimal place one)
My eclipse is a 1995 GS.
So what pin should I connect it to?

I found a site saying it it should be on Pin 48 and it's White with Black strip. But the funny thing is, when I check the pin 48 on my ECU, the wire is PURE while with brown dots... so I just use it still. Is that why??? what pin then?
Plesae help me. Again mine is a 1995 eclipse!

Wrong wire. That isn't your front o2 sensor wire. Look for the white wire with black stripe. I don't remember the pinout but there should be only one (I think). The 48 pin is probably for a odb2 eclipse. But all years are slightly different except the 95 which has a whole other ecu. But if you find that white wire with black stripe you should be set. Our o2 sensor shows 0-1v.

Never, ever go by pin number. The pin numbers changed from year to year. Wire color is much more reliable - the location might have changed, but the colors are always the same in the harness.

OK, I did found the white with black strip wire...so I should use that instead?
Also about the top (the previous post) I put in 2.3x-2.5x.. I mean 0.23x - 0.25x
All the values I posted above are one decimal shifted..sorry.

Sounds like you're on the tach signal wire to me.

Go by wire color. Use the white wire with black stripe. If you picked the solid white wire, then you picked pin #8 on a '95. If you look at the diagram on this link http://www.2gnt.com/www/corbin/95ECU.html, you can see that pin #8 is exactly opposite pin #48 on the '95. You were probably looking at the connector wrong. Use the white wire with black stripe. That should do it.

when i was doing the apexi tt install (with af function) it took a some time to find the o2 wire on the harness. took forever for some strange reasons but its there buried at the top ecu harness.
