Pull your exhuast mani...do you see all kinds of black buidup on the gasket leading to the edge? Other then boost leak, and whistling comeing from the manifold I don't know about other symptoms :shrug

Is it leaking? If not then dont worry about it.

tape some sandpaper ruff side up on a flat surface. Take off u manifold and slide it against the sand paper back and forth and look at the manifold where u sanded and u will beable to tell if its flat or not stage 4 clutch, aluminum flywheel, solid motor mounts, Phantom grip, phantom boost, egt, a/f, oil psi, apexi TT, Jeep TB, Star stage 2 with custom 3 inch downpipe out passenger side bumper, custom ground kit, falcon azenis, 2 inch drop, eibach camber kit, crank scrapper,AEM cam gear, short shifter, and some other stuff

well i think i got a boost leak. now with my new motor on my profec b i almost got my low knob turned all the way and the most boost i get is aboutr 8.5psi, that and in boost i hear this killer noise. its super loud.. cant be knock since timing is ok, and fuel is all good. hmmm .... An exhaust leak through the manifold sounds like BRAAAAAAAAAAP and usually starts well before you actually hit positive boost pressure.
Look around the mani on all sides (use a mirror for down below) and if you see any black carbon, it's leaking. Try tightening it down GOOD and if it comes back in a week, it's warped. RRE will deck it for you for about $40.

you know what i do when i get a exhaust leak and i want to find out wheres it coming from. when the car is cold, just feel around the manifold and see if you can feel a leak. if you do have a leak on your manifold, the car is usually loud. but you can also take off your whole manifold and check if theres black buildup on the manifold and gasket, but then thats a pain in the ass to do.

dang, now i hear some whisting noise at around 8.5psi of boost at 75-85mph with a loss of egt/power. a/f is ok.. check out my other post " 4,000miles after rebuild " when i checked my manifold nuts/studs its all tight from what i can turn...?? check your bolts that connects the turbo and manifold.. when that get loose for me, i start hearing a whistling sound too.

Manifolds leak more when cold. Start the car and take a white piece of paper and work it all the way around the manifold. If any part turns black then it is leaking. Make sure you clean any old carbon from the seam between the manifold and the head before you start the car.
I would check your gasket between the exhaust side of the turbo and the manifold. If you have a leak for a period of time, you can burn through a gasket easily and it will keep on leaking after you retighten the bolts.
