Okay. Digest version: Apexi TT and Autometer elec. FP gauge not playing nice together.

When TT is on, FP gauge wont work, unless I unplug-replug harness on back of gauge.

When TT is off FP gauge works fine from start!!

When FP gauge is unplugged with TT on, and key is removed from igniton there is no hiccup in acc. power: radio, SAFC stay on and car keeps running for countdown time.

When FP gauge is plugged in (working or not) and TT is on and key is removed from ignition, there is a power hiccup. Radio, SAFC all loose power for a split second, enough to make them start up as if the car was being started from scratch, and the car has a split second power hiccup as well like its just about to die and then catches itself!

Everything is grounded super well to Neg. batt. terminal and chasis VIA an 8 point junction block!
FP gauge is sliced into one hot wire along with 2 other gauges that have no issues with TT.

ANY ideas?????

problem solved. FP gauge power wire didnt like being connected to an acc. wire that cycled power during the key crank process. now its spliced to a full time acc. wire on the TT ignition harness. All works nice now.
