How many lbs do you guys run on your rebuilt internals and have their been any downfalls to this set-up. I ask, b/c winter is coming and I'm womanless which will set aside money and time for my projects. My 2gnt will be my cruiser behind my soon to be mid 12's 1964 Merc. I'd still like to get some 13's out of the eclipse and be able to drive it daily. I woud like a KISS (keep it simple stupid) fuel set-up and able to afford the internals on college kid wages.

I was running 12 psi, people have run more tho.
The biggest problem is your injectors max out at 100 psi, so for more boost you need bigger injectors. If your injectors are too big the car wont idle very well because the lowest duty cycle for the injectors is still spraying too much gas for idle.
Thats where corbins 8 injector setup comes in! :thumbsup

I run 13 psi daily on the 30# injects. I def will NOT push anymore than that, since fuel pressures at 13 psi are well over 100 psi. Its gets plenty of fuel though. 13psi is def enough to get you into the 13's. I have trapped a best of 101 mph, which is good for high 13's at least. And by looking at my 1/4 times, If i could launch a good 2.0 or better 60 ft time, I would be at a 13.8 for a 2.0 60ft.

what are the biggest injectors you can run using the SFMU and still be able to idle?

You'd prob get different answers from people, but IMO, a 415cc would be ideal. Some have run 440's and larger, but those are best used with a SAFC. Also, you have to run very low idle fuel pressures with anything that large, and fuel spray quality will be poor with idle pressures under 20 psi(even though the motor still runs). I have seen motors run with 10 psi of fuel pressure. You know the injector spay isnt much of a spray though..very poor fuel atomization. I idle at 20 psi on the 30#. It runs geat on this fuel pressure, and fuel trims are almost stock. This is why i suggest 415's. You should be able to idle pretty well with decent fuel trims, at 15 or so psi of fuel at idle. Using 100 or so psi of max fuel pressure, you should be able to obtain 16-17 psi of boost on a S16G realiably.

I have the largest disk and silver spring with the 30ibs. Problem with my car is sometimes when I jump to 13psi out of the hole, my car will start misfiring, stutter and throw the CEL 43 code. Now my problem with the fuel is I can't adjust it to below 28psi at idle. So 28psi is where it's at. Car is effed up sometimes. I would get about 60psi of fuel at like 5ibs of boost and a/f guage reads right, but the freaken egt guage jumps up to 1500. Wtf? Don't know why this happens. It just happens sometimes. I can't stomp on it anymore, because I'll just start misfiring again.

Im in the process of going with a standalone setup, but i was running 440cc injectors with just a SFMU. it idled fine, but with only 14-15psi of FP at idle, it made hitting the gas, like after shifts...kinda rough. the car would "hesitate" for a spit second. it got on my nerves enough, that i swapped in 390cc injectors. i run around 17-18psi of idle FP. the hesitation is still there, but MUCH better now. and i run 17psi everyday on 93 octane. now, i dont drive all damn day at 17psi. the car sees it only when someone wants to race. other than then, i drive it like a damn grandma, and rarely go over 10psi. still runs plenty rich at WOT, abd EGT's never go over 1500. soon as i get un-lazy enough to install the standalone and get it tuned, i will. until then, this suffices quite nicely.
