I have a 2gen auto
Im about to purchase a BOV.
Im planning on running about 15psi since im stickting with the stock turbo.
I've heard the HKS bov's make the swooshing sound when the shifts. Since I want to save money, will a 1 gen bov make those sounds? or do I have to buy an after market bov like Greedy or HKS?

Hmmm... as far as your question, I believe the 1st gen crushed makes a slight sound, but the HKS or GReddy BOVs are made to make noise, so they are much louder.
Also, this forum is for 2nd gen non-turbos from factory... not trying to run you off or anything, just specifying that the discussion here mostly pertains to turbo-ing the non-turbo versions of the 2nd gen DSMs. :)
