Ok, I have been told that it is pointless to have an egt on an Na engine, but I bought it since im going turbo here shortly, and for Kicks and giggles would it be very accurate running off 4-2-1 Monza headers? Where would you place the probe if you did do it?:wary

You want to put the probe right after the exhaust oulet of one of the cylinders for best accuracy. Most choose exhaust runner #4(driver side most runner), but any one is ok to do. Just remember if you are going turbo, dont weld on the "weld on bung" to your header, as you may want to do that to your turbo exhaust manifold, or you will have to get another bung. Most Autometer probes can use a metal clamp to hold the probe inside the manifold runner.

Heck, I say go for it, it might be interesting to see what kind of readings you get at high MPH compared to what you get once your turbo. I have mine mounted in front of cylinder #3 (drivers side), and it is very accurate.
