56457, PLEASE HELP ME! (Those that own a missing link)
Posted by Cereal5, Sep-16-03 08:30 PM
I don't know if this applies to all versions of the missing link... but I have the newest one, the one with the hole on the side that you put the filter in, and I lost my filter (long story). So I am in desperate need of a piece of filter, or something that is like it to make it work. I emailed synapse, and they said they won't be able to give me a new one for at least 2 weeks. I can't have this thing hitting fuel cut like this for the next two weeks... so can someone PLEASE help me out?! I'm willing to pay you plus shipping. Let me know ASAP! Email me (mamayfield@rbrooks.com), IM me (fallndwn7) or even call me(815 494 4011). Thanks!

just put some foam in for now, or a piece of cigarette filter. I can't beleive that it is causing fuel cut though. I think that the filter is just used for a split second while you going from boost back into vacuum (I am not certain of this).

that's exactly when I hit fuel cut, in the transition between vacuum and boost
