i finally got my star stage 2 w/ E-trim turbo kit from overboost! i check out the contents of the two boxes and i am MISSING my FMU and wastegate&!@! obviously i call up overboost customer service at that instant, they give me the run around, transferring me three times in one call. finally i get in touch with someone. they are a good help and say i dont have to ship back my kit and will get my fmu and wastegate out by friday. i am thinking "yeah right." i ask the guy if he can hook me up with overnight shipping, and he says no because he has to go though a distributor of these star kits and it will take by the end of the week for these order forms to be processed. AHHHH

in conclusion, i am EXTREMELY annoyed, pissed, and unimpressed with overboost.com right now. not only did they postpone my shipping date 3 times, they didnt give me all of my turbo kit! dont do buisiness with them if you have a large, rare purchase.

well maybe i will be the first person to boost on 3/4 of a turbo kit!

maybe you should tell them you didnt get the turbo, or manifold also..... wink wink** ;-)

Dude, don't worry about it. If you're not happy with a company like overboost for getting wrong parts or not getting them at all then try getting screwed over by HRC. I was so mad. I got the wrong J fitting for my fuel system and had to wait the whole weekend to get it from them. However, HRC is known for its great customer support and shipped it out that monday and got it early tuesday.

overboost sent me sway bars to the wrong car....a prelude...3 months late after i cancelled my order and i didnt even have to sign for them

so i got what i paid for 3 months late, but i got my money back before they shipped it and so i just put them on a friends lude..for free. HRC also took 2 weeks to send me the wrong fuel system..that was fun

I'm going to order my Star kit from Importparts.com. I've been talking with Ben over there and he said that they keep the kits in stock. He's also working with me on upgrading/exchanging some of the parts too. I hope this isn't going to be another horror story. :)
