Geez you advertise for free like it's going out of style.
Hey guys I sell boxes of parts, too! - you can buy my mystery box for only $50! It includes at least 5 pounds of metal, whether it be pot metal or pieces of aluminum that I used when I tried to learn how to tig weld with. I still can't tig weld though.
I'm sorry you missed my other reply to this post :(

chromoly? :wary
he didn't go anywhere to get it done, it took him 12 minutes to spray it on.

so is it "MOLY" or chromoly? - not wonder this guy is confused. you keep changing the name of it.

moly is the coating u put on pistons it reduces friction and provides a coating that has to be worn through before it can actually wear on the piston so it lasts much longer...
a chevy v8 with moly side skirts wristpin and bearings provided a 15% gain in lost power by friction at 750rpms... image what it does at 7500rpms...
moly is also what u use for lubrication when assembling a motor on bearings n such,
chromoly is a metal and has nothing to do with moly coatings and it cant be painted it it must be cooked on in an oven at 400*

yeah and when you spray it on you have a nice uneven and thick coating because a rattle can doesn't have the modulation a real application gun does.
>image what it does at 7500rpms...
probably nothing.
>moly is also what u use for lubrication when assembling a >motor on bearings n such,
Is it? I've never put an engine together.
>chromoly is a metal
Is it? I don't know anything about chormoly or any of it's applications either *cough*rollcagebutyouretooslowtoneedone*cough*
> and has nothing to do with moly coatings and it cant be painted it > it must be cooked on in an oven at 400*
which is why you don't use it, right? So all your coating are applied with $5 guns, and they're $5 for materials, but somehow you charge $100 for them?

I deleted the first nasty response and hoped that would be all I'd have to do. If you want to criticize Motofool, at least sign in with your real name instead of making up a pseudonym. I'm locking this now...
