i agree. i swear every time i fix a leak i get 8-10 WHP. even if you put the wastegate to the intake manifold, it still makes it so much faster to seal up everything.

also helps spool-up a ton.

hey JustOne, you have some type of igniton controller? i'm getting a MSD DIS-2 (the non programmable one :( so i'll have to fake it with the dip switches) sometime soon and was wondering a good setting so i can run 18-20 psi of boost on pump gas (94 octane, i don't want to go higher on the 415's, my math tell me i'll need 120 psi of fuel around 21 psi of boost). like... how many degrees should i retard it under full boost? i have about 17 degrees of advance under WOT at full boost. i have no idea, but i'm guessing i should pull like 4-6 degrees? or is this one of those things that i'll just need to figure out my your own by listening for knock?

Listen for knock and keep an eye on your spark advance. I have the Crane Digital CD Ignition box. At the moment I don’t have it pulling any timing out at all. It stays at 17-19 degrees advance at WOT and full boost. The only time I ever get audible knock is when it’s like 90ish out side and even then all I pull out is about 1 deg per every 5 psi.

armonds motor died twice because of a faulty msd box hes been runing stock ignition for a while and staying at 18-20psi....
