Yesterday, on my way on a roadtrip, my car just dies. Hours later, I find that some of the wires from the cam sensor were a little melted. Ok. Fixed that. But now I have another problem.....

Now my electrical fuel presseure gauge doesnt work. Its stuck on 22 and doesnt move at all. I hooked a mech gauge and it worked just fine. Looked around some more and found that those wires were I thought melted. It had the black plastic shit on it (that engine dress up stuff u stuff your wires in) and that stuff was melted, but the wires were just fine. So im not sure whats wrong. I made sure the plug was into the sender. I dunno..... have any clue whats wrong now?

how did your wires get melted?

I put in differnet injectors, and I guess left some of the wiring by a line/hose that gets pretty hot.

But I still cant figure out why my gauge is drunk. I worked just fine. Even when the car was somewhat dead and wouldnt start, the gauge still moved. But now it wont. Humm.... :wary

yea man i know how meltin shit goes....lol my fuel lines melted so much shit one time. i reccomend just takin a look in ur engine for any potential PITA wires that would cause issues and get a high temp protecter, like a heat wrap or something. works really good and then u dont have paranoia that ur always meltin shit

if you just replaced your injectors, you may have spilled some fuel on the rubber connector. Gasoline melts plastic.
