heard that it is different than while you are n/a. lemme know what you are gappinng your plugs at.

.35 is ok

.40 is stock plug gapping..

.35 is better for boosting, while it might aid to rough idles.

I use .32 on my 4g and my 420S and have not had any problems.

I'm using .035 on NGK 7-range plugs.

yea. the ngk bkr7e plugs are gapped correctly for turbo apps.

Technically it's .035, but most guys will just call it .35. .35 would be bigger than a 1/4 inch - that would be big gap! Get a gapper, that way you can't go wrong.

The bkr7e-11 plugs I got were gapped larger than .035! More like .040 or .045

hehe you have to get the bkr7e, the 7e-11 is larger.

ive been noticing a little too much laggggg with the .035 gap.

i have mine at .035 i think. does it matter if you have the screamin daemon coil pack. it says to gap them to like .065 or sumit. i didnt.

how does it run with the .035 w/ the coil pack...?

what do you mean lag?...would you reommend something other than .035 to elimate that lag you speak of?..

just doesn't seem like the explosion is instantaneous when i step on the gas pedal.. im going to regap to .040 and see if it helps.

hey guys.. actually i bought some new plugs.. i bought the plain ngk plugs from napa and that might be the problem. i had ngk iridiums in before.. ill check out the differences when the same type of plug comes back to me.

I got mine gapped at 0.030", works perfectly IMO. Oh they are NGK BKR7e, the same plugs as Mazda 323 turbos.

I run .038 on bkr-7e, stock ignition. Haven't "tuned" this, it's just what I have been using, fwiw.

i put the new iridium plugs in with the preset gap of .040 and im still noticing hesitation.. im working on the car tonight, thanx for the reminder to change the gap. ill let you know tomorrow.

bkr7e11 all the way. GREAT plugs that come pre gapped for turbo apps like ^^^said

x( The BKR7E-11 is pregapped to .044 which is even larger than stock, and definitely wrong for turbo. You have to close the gap, which is much more difficult than buying the right plug -> BKR7E which is already gapped to .035

its the bkr7e's that are correct.

might want to double check that turbo8. im 100 percent sure the 7e's are correct.

I've always had to close the gap to around .035" on the BKR7R-11's. They do come gapped around .044 or so...The BKR7E's are a perfect gap and heat range to run...

hmm...i might have got the 7e plugs then because all i know is i didnt have to change anything and have been boosting on them for a long ass time, no probs
