You'd have to get the '95 engine wiring harnass, at least. There may be other slight wiring differences.

I think that it would be possible to get away with just using the PCM connector from the '95 harness, as all of the wiring colours are the same from all years (at the ECU, anyways), or they are all close. In other words, each wire on a '95 corresponds to a wire on a '97, or so I was told...

i dont mean to steal the thread here, but you said that the 95 ecu's are more turbo accepting?...i also heard that 95's dont need the missing link (only running 5psi), is that true?... i have a 95 and was just wondering if i need the missing link...thanks

No you don't need to use the ML, however the boost might eventually hurt the map sensor. (esp if you go high boost like 10+) So it's still not a bad idea to get one as the PSI goes up, but I ran 8psi for over a year without one.

I've run 15psi and up for a year or more.. no issues.

The MAP sensor is designed to withstand intake backfires of a few hundred PSI. No worries on the MAP sensor dying on ya.

What you are trying to do is convert from obd1 to obd2. You will need at least a 95 ECU and 95 wiring harness from the ECU.
