How much boost do you guys think the 2.2 from FTY could handle on the internals they supply disregard fuel tuning, just how many lbs u think it could handle before it pops ?

i think the rods are around 5-600 hp. but, you will only make this power with like 110 octane i think. i dunno

I'm sure you could run like 30 psi of boost and juice it too if you want. Its all about how you tune it, this motor can take anything you throw at it. But thier isnt a motor in the world that can withstand poor tuning at high output levels.

A BILLION psi.

You're looking at it the wrong way. Fuel has EVERYTHING to do with how much boost you can run. The motor can take moe boost than you'll likely ever be able to supply fuel for.

>boost is meaningless

hahahahaha mmmkay :wary

dinos right, its about the fuel but boost by no means is 'meaningless' up the boost, up the fuel. what do you have to help you tune it? AFC? EGT? A/F? those are all HANDY! pocketlogger is badaas too

easy way to put it: as much boost as you can run without detonation.

Wouldnt it be best to buy the FTY block for 1645.00 seeing as how it comes fully assemled and ready to drop in.To buy all the parts yourself to build up the bottom end is already around 1000.00 plus you have to take it apart and put it back togther.
