well you have to look at it differently. More like it aids your intercooler, maybe even helping it reach 100% efficiency.

actually co2 does help a lot.

on my dyno runs, i ran a 264 without c02.. i ran a 289 with spraying co2 onto the intercooler. no.. it doesn't help ;)

well maybe you think they dont help much becuase people use it wrong. Spray the intercooler before your run.

Why would you throw water on a hot pan? well thats not a good one. See if you cool the intercooler before hand then when the hot air starts hittin it then its dissipates heat. Kinda how our bodies work. Heat is carried away when the water evaporates off the surface.

I have been thinkin about geting one, but was also wondering how well they work. It wouldn't hurt anyting to mount it to the backside of the intercooler would it? It just doesnt look as "clean" when installed on the front. Anyone have any info on this. siueclipse how do you have it mounted? And do you use it only before a run or when the car is moving as well?

i dont have the kit yet, should be here soon. i plan on mounting it in the front of my fmic because i have an oil cooler behind my fmic... well.. if it would fit it might actually be better to try and cool both the oil cooler and the fmic..

anyway.. i plan on using it before racing, but i also plan on using it while driving. it comes with a solinoid that will allow the c02 to come out at a certain boost pressure. so.. lets say i set it for 10lbs of boost, the c02 sprayer will spray the intercooler at 10lbs of boost and give me a little cooling when im trying to racing around.

i think it will help before racing and during.

it should definately help with cooling. and would be nice to have when you make a bunch of dyno runs...

as for the install, thats one of the cleanest looking fmic sprayers ive seen, and looks pretty good. from the picture on intercoolertechniques anyway.
