55185, Project Solar Eclipse Pictures Week4 - Posted by solareclipse98, Aug-30-03 04:43 PM
We got almost everything installed and ready, the exhaust is all done and installed we need one more hanger then that is complete. The all the intercooler piping is complete and the blow off valve is installed. We need to put in the o2 sensors and that is it.
We got the S-AFC installed thanks to those kind members of this website it works 100% and the missing link even registers negative 700 something pressure... and throttle sensor is working..
We are waiting for some fittings for the fuel pump and fuel rail and some misc hoses... we cranked the engine last night and it cranked and the clutch works just great...
we should have this thing started by the end of the week.... so close just a lot of little here and there things.
In this picture you can see the neon light behind the intercooler the battery is kinda dead so it isn't as bright as it normaly would be but anyhow the lights sure look cool... with the projectors etc.

same as above but with the parking lights on only

in this picture you can see the custom downpipe and you can also see the blow down tube of the wastegate.. you can also see the greddy blow off valve... We have installed the radiator just haven't hooked up the hoses.

an other good engine shot.

Here is a real good shot of the intake manifold plumbing and all the pipe work that was done.. and look how much room we still have...

an other good engine shot

a good shot of the turbo

A nice side view of the front of the cars... i love the side markers i got for it... also a shot of the engine... bling bling...

An other side view of the front of the car

a good picture of the cross drilled rotors under the enkie rs-6 rims with Z rated pilots..

A good profile shot of the whole side of the car you can see the intercooler piping up front and you can see the roll cage...:)

Forward front shot.. love the front bumper how i can see a little of the intercooler piping

I got so excited i had to open my sunroof and roll the window down a little and take a profile picture to see the roll cage :)

Here is a picture of the roll cage the center bar is going to be moved back a little so we can recline the sport seats.
 Like our battery relocation ?
an other shot of the cage.. yes the interior looks like crap right now.... give us a second :)
 Battery Relocation
picture of the welds on the roll cage
open door shot of the cage...
side shot of the car again
don't you just love how dark my windows are... and i was worried about the CEL automatically failing my car... psht

there you have it so far.... what do you all think? will be fun...

>that's a crazy fucking setup! i like!
Very simple actually... with a little fabrication... gut the power steering and the a/c...or relocate them if you can i prefer to have both out... it handles a lot better and the steering is more accurate at least it is to me...
i'm so damn anxious to start this thing up you have no idea.

I kinda like the non painted handles and mirrors... those who know their eclipses will think that im not turbo charged and just have a body kit... that is until i roll down my window and they see some nice metal bars and a little boost guage..... or until they see me drive off and hear a vrrrrrrooooom PSHT!

Believe it or not i bought most of my cosmetic stuff i.e. body kit, rims, side markers, spoiler, from ebay... just search for eclipse side markers or eclipse diamond side markers.... they are very nice
look good with the lights on too.

Thank you!! I shiver at the thought of putting stickers on my ride... i can see maybe one or two.. but some people clutter theirs with stickers and im just really not into it.
