i originally did not plan to get this done but the clamps holding my pipe FELL OFF. i wanted to weld it but the dude wanted 75 bucks; so fuck it! i was about to join the motofool gb. thankfully, mike (penoymahal-sp?) from 2gnt gave me the number for a shop in his area and damn i am impress with their work.

the break down is i got a 2.5 in mandrel bent 2 piece down pipe (35), 3 gaskets (9), flex section, 02 bung, 3 flanges (9) with labor at 75. 129 TOTAL!!!!! i expected to pay at least 200.

the car feels even better, with boost coming in even quicker. the work is top notch. the best thing is no more leaks and exhaust fumes coming from my engine bay and the pipe is solid!!!

THE BAD NEWS: i was talking to his wife and telling her their definitely was demand but aparantly, he is doing a project for Honda going on now for a year and is a bit too busy to ship crap all over the country.

she gave me a business card and said anything i want done, he will do and to come again and to give friends his card. so any socal turbo 2gnt wanting a dp with high quality job, go to Anthony's Muffler and Brakes. come in the morning and get an appointment.

this goes to show you that there are good people still there. he could have charged me 200 and i would still pay. she also said that shops in san diego were asking 300 for this to be done so i am surprised he didn't charge more.

hey dude,, the high price i told you about was for a complete 2.5"dp but he and i decide it was best to just use hrc pipe and go big from that area. cant beat it for $100.. i asked him about the group buy and he is a busy guy with the honda world/s2000 club.
this place is super cool.

That is the same thing we did with mine except we eliminated the cat in the process and ran a straight pipe to after cat.....the power gain is good form it, before my best was a 15.1, after 14.7...:thumbsup
