your awesome dude. but seriously, i think if they make quality products, it wouldn't hurt to have a carb'd turbo, no?

RyaN95i4 is correct. They make a SC Kit for the '03 V6 Tibby. I believe it is CARB approved. The gains on that kit are marginal, though. Not worth $3-$4G, IMO. Maybe if the had staged upgrades it would be worth it. I've spoken with CARB about obtaining exemption status for my STAR Kit. The process is relatively simple, but costly...and it's mainly geared toward companies and not individuals. So, I'd be getting exemption for STAR and making them more money. Screw that... From what I got from our conversation, I'll just end up having to customize/change something about this kit and market it as my own so I can have exemption for me..and any other future kits with the same specs. Which, could work out for us Cali guys with STAR kits. I mean, it would be worthwhile to switch out say your BOV (which most people do anyway) and have CARB Exemption. Hell, I've already switched out the VC-1 for the missing link.
I wonder if that's enough :wary

heh to make the star kit carb legal you'd need to weld the dump tube to the downpipe and route the breather hose to the intake somehow.
I tried taking my car to the smog ref to get it approved, the fucker wouldn't stop going on and on about I need a number for this part and a number for that part. good luck dude hehe.
now the HRC kit I believe might be able to make it to carb approval if they actually tried.

ok, then we'll get bill to make his kit carbed. as soon as he gets outta the prototype stage. About how much would it cost to get a "generic" kit approved? we could all do some donating shit to get him going. 1 here, 2 dollars there.... wouldn't you like to be carb approved for a buck?
