I just got my 1G SMIC in the mail and have no run into problem number two... I knew the thing didnt come with piping, so I was wondering if anyone had a list of necessary piping to hook it up to a Star kit... Like how many pipes \ clamps Ill need and in what size... Just tryin to make this a little easier on myself...

Hey man.. I just hooked up a 1g. Here's what u can do.. it works nicely:

I went to Pep Boys and bought all the 2" flex piping they have. It comes in about 2 foot lengths and is called UNIVERSAL TAIL PIPE... they stuff is awesome cause its extremely flexible. Buy about 3 (4 or 5 maybe in case you mess up with cutting).
Then go to Home Depot and look in the plumbing section I believe. The yhave rubber couplers and elbows. They have clamps on them already. You'll need about 3 straight 1.5 inch to 1.5 inch couplers (trust me those stupid 2 inch couplers are huge and will be loose)
and you'll need like 2 1.5" to 1.5" elbows. And also get one 1.5" to 2" straight coupler.

You may have an extra coupler or elbow but its fine because it really depends on how you have the pipes coming down. Plus this is custom so just return what u don't need but u can't go buy it once your car is apart.

ALSO... you'll need to take off that plastic ducting stuff in front of the drivers side front wheel. Thats where the SMIC will mount. and cut around the wheel well behind where the wheel sits (I'll posts pix of my setup soon).

Now what you'll need to do is cut the existing piping and reuse it so that u don't need get a new flange for the BOV.

yea man... I mean its for exhausts right? But anyway... when i hooked up the 1G SMIC my boost gauge read 4 psi instead of 5 psi boost (no boost contoller on, just the wastegate). And that drop is a result of the normal pressure drop u see in an IC... so I'd say yes.
