i have some extra thermotec turbo kit stuff i have my intake pipe covered with it ( the shiny stuff), and i was thinking about putting some of the wrap on my intercooler pipes in the engine bay.. what do you all think? good not worth it? i think it will help...

Probably wouldn't hurt to wrap the pipe from that goes from the turbo to the intercooler. However the pipe after the intercooler and to the intake manny probably wouldn't help noticeably...

If you run your car and feel the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and the turbo from the intercooler to the intake manny, the temperature change is dramatic....

Actually, you want to insulate the pipe going from the IC outlet, to the TB inlet, as this will help keep the air temp more stable, and more consistant of what is coming out the IC. Generally, the air temp going from the turbo outlet to the IC will always be hotter then ambient or under hood temps, so no need to insulate that, actually, it may be a bad idea to do that. But the cooled down air coming from the IC should be a bit cooler than underhood temps, and keeping that pipe from warming up with underhood hot air could never hurt.
