54010, boost controller Posted by DSMeclipseGS, Aug-13-03 04:51 PM I installed my boost controller and i have a slight problem... in first gear (AUTO) it hits 7 psi liek i want it... then it drops to 5... then in second it goes and stays at 7 PSI... I have a 98 GS stage 2 HRC kit.. with 1G eclipse SMIC custom set up... what could the problem be???? thanks. | |

54024, RE: boost controller Posted by techboy, Aug-13-03 06:14 PM Need more info .... is it like a sudden drop every time at certain RPM's, or is it random? You may have a slight vac leak occuring with that much boost pressure in 1st gear. Either way there really shouldn't be a need to really wind out and hold 1st gear for very long before hitting 2nd, unless it's happening in that short amount of time. Give more specifics .... | |
