53972, Few questions after turbo installed? (a little long)
Posted by freddy_00_69, Aug-13-03 09:49 AM
I have my air/fuel gauge connected to the wire in the ecu (white and black), now the problem i have is while i am driving(not boosting) it goes crazy from lean to rich and when i floor it and boost kicks in it reads real rich and stays on rich til i let off, and when i left off the gas and just roll it reads all the way lean. Someone help me with this. I have 30lb injetcors and the biggest disk in. Also my fuel gauge does not adjust when i try to turn the static pressure on top of the sfmu, it just wiggles around 20-30 the whole time and won't adjust. Sorry for the thread being long, please help, it drives fine but i want it to be right. Thanks in advance.

Thats normal sir. A/F guages are only accurate at WOT (tuning wise).

Thanks for the air/fuel info. Boosting feels good, but i want it to last, so am i alright with the large disk in the sfmu.

Your always ok to run rich, just might cause some emissions problems. Running lean is a different story. If you ever run lean you want to get that fixed or your boost won't last ....
