Guys I am at the crossroads and losing sleep and my mind. I really don't know what to do I am deadlock. I love my Eclipse. I have had it since new back in 1998, been thru it all. The headaches of turbo for a full year. Now it's belly up getting the head gasket done. But I could rebuild it, now or never. If I don't rebuild, I sell it. If I do rebuild it, that means no mods for the WRX and no near plans for selling the Eclipse and getting an Evo. What should I do? :wary

hey if you have the dough, and you lobe your eclipse that much to give it up, do the rebuild. i would. i thought you didn't want to mod your WRX because you need it as a daily driver. well anyways, it's up to you man. good luck! :thumbsup

I don't really have the dough to do it all. That's the issue. If I did it would be clear. But I have to think toward the future. If I mod I will have to "get my money's worth." Meaning I'd have to keep it for another 2 years atleast. Then I'd have to sell for a bigger loss to afford the Evo. And I know in the mean time I'd want and spend more to get other mods for it. Maybe someone new needs to take the Eclipse to the next level. As for modding the WRX, it would be a tame modding. Full exhaust, boost controller. 17's on sticky rubber. No major engine mods. I fear I will make an irrational decision soon...;(

I would probabaly fix the eclipse. I don't think I would mod the WRX, but thats just me. Selling for an EVO would be another good one, but now you're looking at spending a lot more than just fixing the eclipse. it would be cool to have an EVO and a WRX though.
