What do you get besides a front mount intercooler in the stage 2 star kit that you dont get in the stage 1.Wheres the best place to but the kit?Is the star fmic just as good a hrc?If not can i put a star stage 1 and get a hrc fmic would that work?

you get a slightly different wastegate spring i think. you get all of the piping for the FMIC too, but that kind of goes without saying.

no. the HRC FMIC is wider and thicker than the Star one. it's also a lot more expensive than the Star one. $1100 or so for the HRC FMIC and piping. then again, the best isn't ever cheap.

sounds like dino's setup, if he's put the HRC FMIC on his Star kit yet. if you got some custom piping, then yes - otherwise, i don't think it won't fit out of the box. the Star T3/T4 outputs the compressor discharge downward, and the HRC pipipng for their FMIC is designed for the S16G which points a little higher than the valve cover.

Overboost is the same price so i would just go with them.Do you know how much hp the super16g is good for and how much the t4/t4 is good for?How much is a hahn stage 2 with fmic?

A Hahn stage II with a FMIC I believe is 3400 - a fair price, but not cheap. It doesn't matter what S16G and T3/4 are good to, b/c without internal mods, our engines will never be able to tap the full potential of the turbo. Some people have - they blew up their motors.
