i the hrc manual, you should remove this because of excessive fuel pressure will result.
even though this manual was written specifically for the craptech, does this step also apply to the sfmu?
where can i get this thing (ie autozone)?

yeah. you want pretty free flow coming out of the end of the fuel rail. remember, fuel pressure regulators increace pressure by basically blocking the return line. having something else in the circut blocking the return line (like the little valve there) will disrupt everything. heh, someone should try this sometime... i bet you'd get like 120 psi of fuel at idle.
anyways, go to any hardware store. autozone would have it too. it's a very common tool. it's this thing that has 4 things sticking out of it in an + shape. it's about 2" in diameter.

yeah run the pump with that thing in and thier will be nowhere for the pressure to go. It will probably pop a fuel line of burn out your pump. Remember in the hrc instructions you remove the stock fpr back near the passenger side wheel hub.
