Sorry the pic is kinda small but you get the picture. I think this is what they call deltamode in the deltagate instructions. Always wondered what the difference is between deltamode and the conventional mode (just the MBC connected inline to the wastegate)

well after that 15 dollar ebay MBC crapped out on me I got this one for 30 bux on dsmtrader. Its good stuff its got a pretty bigknob so its easy to adjust and it locks by pushing the knob in and out. Came with some blue silicon hoses, woohoo always wanted some silicon hoses wish they only sold em in black but oh well they match my couplers. Anyway it worx great no more spikes I'm happy.

how did you know the boost controller crapped out on you?

so no1 is doing this? I've seen some people use that vacuum port. Always wondered what it was for haha I still do.
I would get boost spikes a lot and when I drove home one day the boost gauge needle was doing a lotta funny stuff. Who knows how it was working at the event I was racing at it might have messed my engine up. Anyway I opened it up and found out the ball was stuck and blocking the boost signal.

so how much were you boosting? Because with me, I can not boost above 12psi.

when it spiked? I remember one night it spiked up to 20 that was pretty crazy the tires imediately spun :P
so no1 knows what's the difference between this and the usual mbc setup? this just seems like more plumbing

I used that boost controller for one day and took it out. All it did was spike on me all day even wide open where it wasn't supposed to control boost. I damn nearly blew the engine spiking up to 15 psi on a stock bottom end. Sell it IMO. I now use the Turboxs HP boost controller and not have had one spike yet. IMO it is the best MBC out there. I haven't seen one complaint about it yet. By the way sold mine on ebay for $50 to someone in Budapest and he seemed to like it.

i dont know the benefit, but i know most people use the top port for an electronic boost controller, and the side for mbc.

I use it, and Im using the vacume. IM me merlin, my AIM name is razorsharkusa remember? I have the turbonetics VBC its the one that goes to 35-35psi cant remember. no probs yet. Took a couple of turns to get the boost up, probably due to the big range.

I've been usin the MBC for about 2 weeks now and it seems good no more spikes. Maybe the one you got loonnie was defective. Did you do that funky plumbing with it also? oh well I guess I'll never know what the difference is all I know is that it worx O_o

maybe ... then again it only works in the way it was meant to be hooked up, took me a second try. If you notice the bottom has an arrow pointing twoards the longer port. This one is independant of the others. The other 3 are all connected from what i can tell.
How does this work? maybe a dual chamber response? kinda like hooking up the bottom nipple in the type s BOV? Im curious too hades.
