***UPDATED IN THE PAST 15 MINUTES***

THey told me they are different engines and the turbo wont bolt up. Anyone tell me what N/A Eclipse engine can bolt on this thing?

Hey all,
Ive been at dsmtuners and got sick of "JUST BUY A TURBO MODEL". So I figured I would try here. Heres my deal:

I own a Tiburon now (yeah yeah stop the laughin it aint that bad) but my brother has a 95 RS sitting in his garage with out an exhaust or exhaust manifold. Well, A fellow Tib owner offered me this:

- 2nd Generation DSM Turbo Manifold (No cracks, resprayed.)
- 2nd Generation T-25 Turbo(Immaculate condition with WA, NO shaft play.)
- 2nd Gen DSM Side-Mount Intercooler w ALL original piping (also VERY nice condition)
- 1st gen DSM Blow off valve/hardpipe
- 2nd Gen DSM 02 Housing

for next to nothing. We own the car its payed for. So I was curious if with this list plus injectors, fuel pump, and whatever else im forgetting If I could change the RS into a turbo'd car?
Please be gentle with my stupidity, as I dont get much turbo knowledge in the Hyundai Camp (and damn a few people for keeping the turbos out of our Tiburons on a side note)

So, I basically have a free 95 RS and a near complete turbo setup. So why the hell would I wanna go buy a turbo model? Anyways? Is it doable without an act of congress or shoul dI settle in for the winter? Thanks Tons to any help or info.

unfortunatly, the 2g turbo manifold won't fit on the RS...we have different engines, and they just don't match up. but there is hope, there are many ways to turbo it...you could do a custom job, a number of people on here have done them. or you could buy a pre-fab kit, 2 are available, the HRC and the star...do a search up top and see what you can find.

well i know there is someone on here who has the t-25 turbo ( gst stock turbo ) and he has some sort of manifold for our 420a. his 2gnt.com sn is something like RRX or something. just do a search.. he has a bluish looking eclipse. i guess you could use the gst smic if you can route the intercooler piping to it etc. as far as fuel do a search and post back after you read up more.

Sweet! Points to you for driving a Hyundai! Are you on any of the Hyundai Forums? I'm accentstreetracr on HP and KORE, but am Nackers on HIT. Nice to see that there are other hyundai guys on here:thumbsup. BTW, I got a accent if you couldn't tell. This is my g/f car, but I drive it all the time:).

You can try motofool too. He makes custom manifolds...not sure if he makes one to the T-25 or not though.

I am sure he can make one for you if you (or someone) can find the proper flange for that turbo. I say go for it! how much does the guy want for all that stuff?

Also did several more mostly T-3 but a few 14b/t-25 too

I have nothing against Motofool I exchange with him daily on AIM
but you have to learn to give credits to the original maker of aftermarket manifolds for the 420a engine
I'm making manifolds since spring 2001

Sorry Alain, I didn't realize that. Guess I should get my facts straight before I open my pie hole huh?

Anyway props to you for make those things....with out ppl like you I would be lost.:thumbsup

Check my sig for a pic of Alain's manifold and a T25 setup. TIM97RS also has this setup. As far as I know we are the only 2.
