I run the Missing Link and a SAFC. The Missing Link is cake to install, just 2 screws. The SAFC involves a little more work, especially if you wanna do it right and solder the connections, but overall not too bad.

Sweet!! Yes this will be so awesome! In the past 3 weeks i have spent well over $6000 on my car.. this does not include the cost of having the motor built.. I will post some pictures... we have the right tools to do the soldering etc.. so that won't be a big deal...

I appericiate your help boostedgs :)

why are you going to use the sfac, it advances timing on the 420a..... dave's car had to be rebuilt because of this.. i don't suggest using it

there only a few ways to tune. afc, 8 injector setup, e-manage.. the only one which really does not advance timing is 8 injector setup.. which most people wont do since its takes alot of time and money same goes for the e-manage.. if you use the super afc to fine tune only it wont advance timing to blow your engine.. someone has done this with 440cc injectors. before you play with tuning/fuel read up alot. oh yah, daves car got mess up because he had leaned out like -40+ and had cartechs fpr which sucks ass..
good luck

If you must use the AFC, what he means specifically is you should dial in the car as much as possible with it set to 0. The car should be fully driveable without it. The S-AFC is used to fine tune where you have flat spots or too lean, but not to extreme cases. Keep the percentages low and allow the stock ecu to do most of the work. You can easily make over 300fwhp if you are smart about it.

Wouldn't you be able to controle the timing with an msd and keep it from advancing.

yah, you can retard timing to a certain point. you dont want to use the afc and lean out the fuel to cause you to advance timing way to much, then use the ignition to retard timing to much.. remember retarding timing to much will cause you to loss hp or overall not make it worth you time if you dont know what your doing.
good luck dude
