What's up guys. I got a N1 exhaust system and it's way toooo loud. It came with a silencer but I dont like the way it looks. Now I'm thinking about putting it on. If I do put it back on, will it affect the spool of the turbo since the diameter of the silencer is small and the exhaust wouldn't be flowing freely?

i would think so. you say its loud ass f@#k?? i hear everyone that has a turbo, say its sounds good.

theoretically yes, anything jammed in your exhuast pipe to block air flow will hurt a turbo setup.

it sounds good but i have no cat. makes it sound louder

i got custom 2.5 no cat with a straight through muffler. I think it sounds good. but it is loud and it kills the sleeper mode. im drunk.

Maybe put another resignator on it.

i put the silencer in my dunk for a road trip last week, there wasn't a noticable difference in turbo spool...but what i did notice was the total loss of top end power...it just felt flat over 5,000rpms..

ya i'd hafta agree. i'm NA but i notice a drop in top end with the silencer in. it actually feels like somethings holding the engine back. plus it looks cooler with the silencer out anyways :P
