I know this sounds trivial... I was overheating pretty bad in these 110+ AZ temps. I flushed my cooling system put some water wetter and new coolant, and i havent overheated yet.

A lower temp thermostat will help. Are you turbo, if so get a heat shield. Watter wetter works pretty well too.

get a dual circuit oil cooler. one circuit for the crank and one for the turbo.. dropped my egt's about 150 degrees.. dropped crank oil temp about 100 degrees.. car probably got about 5hp out of it.

For cheap, hi-po fan, go here:
http://www.zirgo.com/search.lasso?search=fan
$16 +/- for shipping..here in 2-3 days (for Cali).
I've got the 12" one, works great. I can post pics when I get home.
On a side note, what are your guys regular water temps? I'm running 30% coolant, water wetter, 13lb cap, 1600cfm fan, fluidyne (yes, they make one for NT now), B&M Super Cooler (for tranny)...and my temp sits around 210. I think the fkr sold me the wrong thermostat.:nono

I've seen mine get up to 230 but I know that it gets hotter than that. I have a 160 degree stat, 50/50 coolant mix with watter wetter, a GST cap with like 13 or 16 LBS for pressure. I flushed my coolant after my HG repair, and I have the HRC fire sleeve over the coolant line. So I don't know what the issue really is here.

How about one of these. These might work on the stock fans.

Okay, so heres a list to begin with of good things to do in part or all:
1. Coolant Flush 2. water wetter 3. higher Psi radiator cap (need more info, as to what kind and such) 4. Lower temp thermostat 5. Heat wrap/sheild for turbo 6. Dual circuit oil cooler 7. Low price, high cfm fan 8. high price, high cfm fan
Sound about right so far?
anything else?

Water wetter actually blows....believe it or not, the NOS brand coolant additive works way better. Well, at least it did for me.
