So, would a 3" be freat or would it hurt any to go to a like 3.25 inch or so.
or maybe, dual side exhausts, which would look awesome, but not sure if it would sound good or not.
what is the best size exhaust for a turboed car? (other than no exhaust)

3" should do the job just fine. If you have the money or can find a company out there who makes a larger one, it certainly won't hurt anything. Although you may have a bit more of a challenge hanging an exhaust much larger than 3" on our car.
Dual exhuast won't make the car sound any different or worse. PowerEclipses on this board was running dual on his turbo setup and his n/a setup after he took his turbo off and it sounded pretty good both ways. IMO though, I think the added weight for the extra piping is a major drawback - again just IMO.

3" piping should be all you will ever need.

I have the Thermal 3" (best out there IMO) and our cars are low enough stock that the piping is only about 5 inches from the ground or so. If you're lowered that's even closer to speed bumps and other stuff. I don't think you'd want much bigger piping or you're asking for road hazard trouble. I just say this because it happened to a friend of mine.
